Peter Batchelor has selected some choice pieces of his atmospheric and meditative sound art, spanning a decade. Gordon Monahan conjures up the prairies of Saskatchewan with an impressive series of varied tracks utilising his fascinating installations.

Small Canadian label C3R just released two new albums of extreme musics. Firstly, Norwegian composers Maja Solveig Kjelstrup Ratkje and Lasse Marhaug presents the third installement in their Music for… series (after Music for Shopping and Music for Loving) with Music for Faking. A dense and dynamic collaboration with a touch of humour. Secondly, Tsurubami (a trio of members from Acid Mothers Temple) set out on a new adventure into cosmic and psychedelic improvised rock on Shohjohkisshohtan.
