SCREAM Festival 2011 presents Sounding Images on November 5, 2011 at the REDCAT (Los Angeles, USA). 11 pieces are on the program including videomusics by Mathew Adkins / Oliver Jones, Elsa Justel, and Francis Dhomont / Inés Wickmann.
The videomusic Passages and Dérive by Francis Dhomont and Inés Wixckman will be presented during the recital Música de cámera mixta, electroacústica y video-arte on September 15, 2011 at Auditorio Alberto Lleras of the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá (Colombia). Also on the programme are works by Natasha Barrett (Rite-3/18), Catalina Peralta Cáceres, and Germán Toro-Pérez.
On January 7 - 8, 2010, Francis Dhomont will be the guest at the Universität zu Köln in Germany. On January 7 he will present 2 seminars, one of which accompanied by Inés Wickmann. On January 8, Dhomont will present his works Frankenstein Symphony and Chroniques de la lumière (available on … et autres utopies) in concert.
Inés Wickmann and Francis Dhomont are guest artists of the L’opus à l’oreille festival, that takes place from September 25 to October 21, 2009 at Fondation Vasarely in Aix-en-Provence (France). During the festival, they will premiere 3 videomusics: Urbs, Terres et ciels, and Kronos. On October 10, Dhomont will give a conference. On the same evening, Dhomont’s work Corps et âme will be presented in a concert. Also on the programme of the festival: videomusics by Inés Wickmann (video), Ingrid Drese (music), and Beatriz Ferreyra (music).
Elektra, a televison magazine on experimental music — dedicates his July-August 2099 programme to composer Francis Dhomont and his videomusics Moirures and Sisyphe (with Inés Wickmann). Annette Vande Gorne will present a concert of videomusics on May 27, 2009 at Espace Senghor in Brussels (Belgium). The programme includes a videomusic by Pierre Alexandre Tremblay titled Walk That Way. The 27th International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) will present Sisyphe, a videomusic by Inés Wickmann and Francis Dhomont, on March 21, 2009 at the Cinémathèque québécoise in Montréal.
Francis Dhomont will be at the Festival Internazionale di Musica Elettroacustica del Conservatorio Santa Cecilia 2008 (EmuFest) in Roma (Italy) where he will present his work Premières traces du Choucas on November 25, 2008. With the collaboration of Inés Wickmann, he will give a conference and will present their videomusic Sisyphe on the same day.
Two virtuoso of “musique concrète” and acousmatic works — mentor and former student — will be at the “Binary Cities Event: Montréal, Canada - Avignon, France,” a NEXMAP concert. Francis Dhomont’s performance will include Here and There, Phonurgie, and Moirures (a videomusic realized in collaboration with Inés Wickmann). Louis Dufort will premiere the videomusic Flesh that explores the relationship between sonic and visual morphology. He will also diffuse 2 accousmatic works that examine the notion of movement; one of which, Gen_3, is an homage to Francis Dhomont and Pierre Schaeffer.
