Pierre Alexandre Tremblay in Concert, France, UKPierre Alexandre Tremblay will be performing with his Paris-based contemporary jazz trio ars circa musicæ on May 8, 2008 at the Studio de l’ermitage, Paris XX; May 22 at Le Périscope, Lyon; May 24 at L’Atelier du Plateau, Paris XIX; and June 30 at The Oxford, London. He will also perform his piece for bass guitar and laptop, Sandbox#2, in Paris on May 23 as part of the festival Sophie aime le plateau, and in Brighton on July 6 as part of Sonic Arts Network’ Expo Brighton.

Tremblay in Concert with Ars circa musicæ, [iks], le bruit du [sign], MontréalPierre Alexandre Tremblay will be in Montréal, performing and releasing a CD and a DVD-Video. Indeed, Ars circa musicæ will release their first album in a gig at Casa del Popolo on March 26, 2008, and also perform a double-bill with [iks] at Maison de la Culture Notre-Dame-de-Grâce on April 4. [iks] will use this gig to release their 7th recording Le cauchemar de l’horloger (DVD-Video), recorded live last April. But the highlight of this stay is the concert taking place on April 5, joining musicians from 3 countries: the London-based Outhouse, the Paris-based le bruit du [sign] and the Montréal-based [iks].

Tremblay Tours Montréal, London, Belfast[iks], Pierre Alexandre Tremblay’s contemporary jazz ensemble, will present its concert Le cauchemar de l’horloger (The Clocksmith’s Nightmare) — an exploration of contemporary jazz with real-time video and audio processing — for an upcoming DVD-Video release.
