The 4th Festival Internazionale di Musica Elettroacustica del Conservatorio Santa Cecilia (EmuFest) will take place on October 9 to 16, 2011 in Rome (Italy). One of its 15 concerts focuses on the United Kingdom and presents works by Denis Smalley and Jonty Harrison, amongt others. Works by Francis Dhomont are also programed during this festival.

UK) composer Denis Smalley was published in English
today. The French translation is planned for the end of 2010 2011.
The Music Technology programme at Northeastern University in Boston (USA) is presenting a 4-concert electroacoustic concert series this winter 2010. Concert #1 on January 23, 2010 is featuring Gilles Gobeil (and will include Dreams in the Desert by Elainie Lillios) and concert #2 on February 13 is featuring Denis Smalley (and will include à la cire perdue by Laurie Radford). Both these first concerts are presented at The Fenway Center in Boston (USA).

The 5th edition of the Sound and Music Computing Conference (SMC ’08) will take place from July 31 to August 3, 2008 in Berlin (Germany). Starting July 23 concerts will be presented as part of the Inventionen 2008 festival. As you may know the piece Novars by Francis Dhomont will be presented as part of the MANTIS festival during the concert launch of the University of Manchester’s Studio Novars (UK). But that’s not all! This event also features the works of Martin Bédard, Nicolas Bernier, Ludger Brümmer, Marcelle Deschênes, Gilles Gobeil, Denis Smalley, Hans Tutschku, Hildegard Westerkamp, Trevor Wishart, and David Berezan and Jonty Harrison who will each world premiere a new piece… In short, this event is not to be missed and it takes place from November 2 to 4, 2007.
This first weekend of Soundings… has 4 concerts on October 27 to 29, 2006 at the Reid Concert Hall in Edinburgh (UK). On October 28 Pete Stollery will premiere scènes, rendez-vous, composed at the GRM studios, and spatialize the works … et ainsi de suite… by Jonty Harrison, and Espace / Escape by Francis Dhomont.
