At the initiative of composer Stephan Dunkelman, 4 acousmatic composers amongst the most important of the genre — François Bayle, Francis Dhomont, Beatriz Ferreyra, and Bernard Parmegiani — pay homage to the work of Annette Vande Gorne on May 9, 2011 at a concert in Flagey in Brussels (Belgium). They will each diffuse a work by Vande Gorne and premiere a new work of their own. On the same programme are more premieres by Jonty Harrison, Ingrid Drese, Raúl Minsburg, and Elsa Justel.
The 2009 Futura festival will take place on August, 20 — 23, 2009 in Crest, France. On the programme, works by Otomo Yoshihide, Luc Ferrari, Denis Dufour, Francis Dhomont (Corps et âme), Michel Chion, Michèle Bokanowski, Chantal Dumas, Ivo Malec, Bernard Parmegiani, Christian Zanési, Christian Calon and many others.

The 5th edition of the Sound and Music Computing Conference (SMC ’08) will take place from July 31 to August 3, 2008 in Berlin (Germany). Starting July 23 concerts will be presented as part of the Inventionen 2008 festival. The Belgian organization Musiques & Recherches was invited to present a series of concerts in Lisbon (Portugal): “Avril au Portugal.” Three acousmatic concerts will be presented with works by Bernier, Dhomont, Drese, Harrison, and Parmegiani. The April 5 concert will be focused on Annette Vande Gorne’s works.
The 14th international acousmatic festival L’espace du son will take place from October 17 to 21, 2007 at Théâtre Marni in Brussels. The opening night of the festival will celebrate the Musiques & Recherches’ 25th anniversary, premiering 3 musical works: Voix de l’aurore by Ingrid Drese, Murmures by Robert Normandeau, and Chœur des femmes 2, a movement from the opera Yawar Fiesta by Annette Vande Gorne on a libretto by Werner Lambersy. The day after, October 18, will be dedicated to Christian Calon’s music; October 19, to Jean-François Minjard; October 20, to Bernard Parmegiani; and October 21 to Beatriz Ferreyra and Ana Dall’Ara-Majek.
Futura 2007, the international festival of acousmatic art, will take place from August 17 au 19, 2007 in Crest (France). This festival’s edition build around Christian Zanési’s work will notably host, Amongst many composers, Mathew Adkins, Patrick Ascione, Darren Copeland, Denis Dufour, Chantal Dumas, Bernard Parmegiani, Laurie Radford, Pete Stollery, Benjamin Thigpen, and Annette Vande Gorne.
