Two years after their first album, liberum arbitrium, the eletcronic noise duet morceaux_de_machines is back with Estrapade. On this new opus, they are joined by Diane Labrosse (sampler), Martin Tétreault and Yoshihide Otomo (turntables). Moreover, post-production and mastering was entrusted to maximalist composer Paul Dolden.

The three terrible turntablists Martin Tétreault, Yoshihide Otomo and Philip Jeck will rock the 3rd Göteborg Art Sounds (GAS-Festival) (Sweden) on October 14, 2003. Tétreault and Otomo then moves to North America for concerts in Québec October 28, Montréal October 29 and at famous Tonic (New York City) October 30.

An initial studio encounter, recorded live, makes up CD 1. Then both artists went to work to reprocess the raw material left out. Tétreault used obsolete tape recorders to create a analogue remix (analogique, CD 2). Otomo used an ultramodern computer to generate a digital reconstruction (numérique, CD 3).
