Born in Chicago in 1969; learned how to place a mic, splice tape, solder, and own a guitar and accordian, when he should have been doing his homework. Improvised with Derek Bailey, Eddie Prévost, Nic Collins, Henry Kaiser, Voice Crack, Evan Parker, Günter Müller, etc. Lucky enough to work in The Red Krayola and full time with David Grubbs in Gastr Del Sol. Spent a good deal of 1988-93 making electroacoustic music.
