Adrian Moore and Pete Stollery will jointly launch their new disc at a presentation / masterclass at The University of Sheffield (England, UK) on April 24, 2011 and the following day, October 25, at the Contrechamps & Scènes concert as part of the Sound Festival in Aberdeen (Scotland, UK).
Acousmatic pieces by Andrew Lewis (including one premiere), Adrian Moore, and David Berezan (including two UK premieres) and mixed works by Hans Tutschku and Chikashi Miyama, among several others, will be presented during the MANTIS Festival Fall 2011 from October 28 to 30, 2011 in the Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall of The University of Manchester (UK).
The work Fields of Darkness and Light for violin and processing by Adrian Moore was awarded the First prize (mixed music category) at the Musica Nova 2010 International Electroacoustic Music Competition (Prague, Czech Republic). The work will be heard at the competition’s concert on December 8, 2010 at Divadlo Inspirace in Prague.
The Leeds College of Music’s electroacoustic music ensemble n.one will present its 7th concert during the FuseLeeds09 festival on May 1, 2009 in Leeds (England, UK). Adrian Moore will make the keynote address and will then present his works Surface and Dreaming of the Dawn.
The City University of New York will present two days of concerts during the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival and Conference (NYCEMF). The event takes place from April 2 to 4, 2009 in New York (USA). The programme includes works by Pete Stollery, Pierre Alexandre Tremblay, Mathew Adkins, Adrian Moore, Hans Tutschku, Martin Bédard, Georges Forget, Geof Holbrook and many, many others!
The Sound Junction 2009 event will take place on June 5-6, 2009 at the University of Sheffield (UK) with special guest: François Bayle, who will give a concert on June 5. Also scheduled, a premiere by Robert Dow and works by Hans Tutschku, Adrian Moore, Erdem Helvacioglu, Christian Zanési, and Peter Batchelor.
SARC of Queen’s University Belfast (Northern Ireland, UK) presents a week of “solo” concerts on February 16-20, 2009. The guest composers all have discs on empreintes DIGITALes: Adrian Moore, Jonty Harrison, David Berezan, Pete Stollery, and Denis Smalley.
The Seventeenth Annual Florida Electroacoustic Music Festival will take place from April 10-12, 2008. Hans Tutschku will present Das Bleierne Klavier during the Concert VI on April 11; Adrian Moore will present 3 Pieces: Horn, and Pete Stollery, Still Voices during the Concert VIII on April 12 (Adrian Moore & Robert Dow, curators). Many other composers will be there.
Adrian Moore will play the full Sea of Singularity (available on Rêve de l’aube) and Annette Vande Gorne will present Fragments de lettre à un habitant du Centre (soon available on Exils) on Saturday December 8, 2007 at the Festival Licences in Paris (France).
The new piece Back to Square One by Pete Stollery which was commissioned by IMEB will be premiered on November 1, 2007 during the Sound Festival in Aberdeen (Scotland, UK). This year, the festival features Francoise Barrière’s music and other works from the Bourges competition(including Power Tools by Adrian Moore). Back to Square One will then be performed again at Soundings in Edinburgh on November 3.
