Pianist Xenia Pestova will perform three works written for her on September 29, 2011 at Powis Hall, Bangor (Wales, UK): Schattenklavier for piano and processing by Andrew Lewis, the British premiere of On the Impossibility of Reflection for piano and processing by Scott Wilson, and the premiere of John Young’s X for piano and tape. The programme will also include works by Messiaen, Mompou and Ravel.

The Birmingham ElectroAcoustic Sound Theatre (BEAST) will present a series of 5 concerts on Travels in Time and Space on May 29 — 31, 2009 at CBSO Centre in Birmingham (England, UK). On May 30, Andrew Lewis will give a solo concert during which he will present his works Danses acousmatiques, Benllech Shells (available on Miroirs obscurs) and Ascent. Another concert the same evening will present Jonty Harrison’s work Phantom Power and Hans Tutschku’s Zwei Räume.

Andrew Lewis will be in concert on May 22, 2008 at University of Hull’s School of Arts and New Media in Scarborough (England, UK). He will notably present his piece Danses acousmatiques that appears on Miroirs obscurs. He will give a lecture before the concert. Moreover, his piece Budo Variations will be played by duo Contour on June 11 at Elisabeth-Schneider-Stiftung in Freiburg (Germany).

BEAST continues celebrating its 25th anniversary with two concerts of music by BEAST composers past and present, with works by Jonty Harrison, Scott Wilson, Andrew Lewis, Alistair MacDonald, Iain Armstrong, Tom Cahill-Jones, Lisa Whistlecroft, Chris Tarren (one of the winners of the 2007 COMPASS Composition Prize) and many more. The concerts will take place on March 8-9, 2008 at CBSO Centre, Birmingham (England, UK).
