Doyle Wins the 2007 Magisterium Prize

Roger Doyle

Irish composer Roger Doyle has won the prestigious Magisterium Award at the Bourges International Electroacoustic Music and Sound Art Competition in France - one of the most important prizes in the world for electronic music. Of his prize-winning work The Ninth Set Doyle says: “To me the music has a supernatural feeling to it, but I have kept the title neutral, so that you can imagine what it is yourselves.” To know more about him, visit the Roger Doyle’s page.
