The Électro-chocs concert series presented by the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal continues its celebration of the 20 years of empreintes DIGITALes with a concert of Christian Bouchard’s music on November 25, 2010.
Point d’écoute will present the concert Con sordino, musiques électroacoustiques feutrées on May 6, 2009 at Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours in Montréal. The programme of this second edition includes works by Francis Dhomont, Christian Bouchard, Pierre-Marc Beaudoin, David Bowie and others.
Theresa Transistor (Christian Bouchard, Christian Calon, Mario Gauthier, Monique Jean) will participate to the first concert of a series called Je me souviens (2) on April 2, 2009 at La Sala Rossa (Montréal). This series is a tribute to Québec electronic music pionneers. This frist concert is dedicated to István Anhalt.
Theresa Transistor (Christian Bouchard, Christian Calon, Mario Gauthier, Monique Jean) will be at the Mois Multi (MM10), a festival of technological arts held in Québec City which takes place from February 12 to March 1, 2009. The quartet will present a work of improvised electroacoustics called Espèces d’espaces on February 12, 2009.

Robert Normandeau’s Pluies noires (Black Rains), a work co-comissionned by Miso Music (Portugal) and Réseaux (Montréal), by will premiere on September 25, 2008 during the Festival Música Viva in Lisbon (Portugal). The work will also be presented on December 13 during Akousma (5) in Montréal. In Portugal, Robert Normandeau will also present Le renard et la rose along with two more works commissioned by Réseaux: Parcelles 2 by Christian Bouchard, and Ouest (a mouvement from Atlas) by Christian Calon.

Theresa Transistor, Christian Bouchard, Yves Daoust, Louis Dufort, Martin Leclerc, Milliseconde topographie, Éric Rocheleau, and Espaces sonores illimités (ESI) (with 6 improvisers et 1 light designer) will successively seduce the public during the opening night show Spatio lumino. This event is part of the Montréal/Nouvelles musiques festival and will take place on Saturday February 24, 2007 at the Société des arts technologiques, in Montréal.
Christian Calon will present the first part — North, commissionned by the Sonic Arts Network — of 5 of his new acousmatic project Atlas for a Portrait Concert to be presented on April 29, 2006 at the Sonic Arts Research Centre (Belfast, Northern Ireland) during the Sonorities Festival 2006. Works by Christian Bouchard and by Martin Bédard will also be presented on April 30.
The 9th Opus prizes winners were announced yesterday, January 22, 2006, in Montréal. The “Concert of the year - actuelle and electroacoustic musics” category goes to the Theresa Transistor quartet (Christian Bouchard, Christian Calon, Mario Gauthier, Monique Jean) while the “Album of the year - actuelle and electroacoustic musics” is Trilogie d’ondes by Gilles Gobeil.
