He will present Sons sur papier, a retrospective of several sound installations, at Oboro from April 12 to May 10, 2008. Poulin-Denis Dances in LilleThe show Les angles morts will be presented at Les Repérages festival in Lille (France) on March 28, 2008. The choreography is by Mélanie Demers, the music and performance by Jacques Poulin-Denis. Besides, O Vertigo’s La chambre blanche (not to be mixed-up with Robert Normandeau’s work with the same title!), another choreography for which Nicolas Bernier and Jacques Poulin-Denis have composed the music, is still touring Europe until March 21, 2008.

Milliseconde topographie in Sherbrooke and SeoulMilliseconde topographie will present its videomusic Treelogy 3: Orchid at Galerie Horace art actuel in Sherbrooke on August 23, 2007, and also during the EXiS 2007 festival in Seoul (South Korea) on August 24-30. Furthermore, Milliseconde topographie will launch a retrospective DVD-V of their videomusic in the fall. The disc will also include a new audio project which combines ancient music instruments (barrel organ, harpsichord, dulcimer) and new technologies.

Époxy 4: Babin, Bernier, Dumas, in Montréal![]()
During the next Époxy (a music series that presents works based on a relation between a composer and a theorist, mathematician, philosopher, architect or another artist) Magali Babin will present a piece that relates to Sophie Calle’s work, Nicolas Bernier will make reference to the essay The Electronic Revolution by William S Burroughs, and Chantal Dumas will offer a composition based on the two different worlds of John Cage and of Toronto artist Mike Hoolboom. Times Play Features New Young Composers
Winners of the 2004 edition of the composition competition Jeu de temps / Times Play were revealed last week by the Canadian Electroacoustic Community (CEC). They are young composers Ben Wilson, Nicolas Bernier, Mathieu Marcoux, Stefan Smulovitz and Daniel Pruger. And while we are waiting the official release of the compilation Cache 2003 CA+UK, the participants of the upcoming edition were also announced. Compositions by Freida Abtan, Samuel Beaudoin, David Bednarczyk, Nicolas Bernier, Martin Lord, Mathieu Marcoux, Daniel Pruger, Stefan Smulovitz, Nick Storring and Ben Wilson will be featured on Cache 2004.
