Oracle, a new work by Wende Bartley, will be premiered on June 10, 2006 at the Ontario College of Arts & Design (Toronto) for the “Power of Space” concert, presented by Contact Contemporary Music and New Adventures in Sound Art (NAISA). Works by Barry Truax (Riverrun), Paul Dolden (Below the Walls of Jericho), Michael Gordon, and Iannis Xenakis will also be presented.

Música Viva 2003, the International Festival of Electroacoustic Music held in Coimbra’s Museu dos Transportes (Portugal), presents 6 days of concerts from September 12 to 18, 2003. Composer Barry Truax will present an octophonic concert September 17, featuring works of Wende Bartley and Laurie Radford (with viola by Laura Wilcox). The following night, September 19, the concert is dedicated to mixed works for percussions with compositions by Kaija Saariaho, Beatriz Ferreyra and Elsa Justel.
