Foliphonies celebrates the 20 years of empreintes DIGITALes with a double-concert of Patrick Ascione’ work and works by younger composers whose music is released by empreintes DIGITALes. This concert is produced by Les Acousmonautes at the Cité de la musique in Marseille (France) on December 8, 2010 as part of the annual colloquim of the Association des enseignants de la composition en musique électroacoustique (France).
Élektrophonie (France) will present the 8th “Nuit bleue” on July 11, 2009 at Saline Royale in Arc-et-Senans (France). Many works are programmed during the “Nuit acousmatique” concert: Cyclo by David Berezan, Premières traces du Choucas by Francis Dhomont, Champs de fouilles (Excavations) by Martin Bédard, Voix de l’aurore by Ingrid Drese, L’escalier des aveugles by Luc Ferrari, Dancing on the Edge of Silence by Monique Jean and many others. A portrait of Patrick Ascione will also be presented on the same night during the "Cinéma pour l’oreille" concert.
The Futura festival will take place from August 21 to 24, 2008 in Crest (France). Amongst guest composers, let’s point Patrick Ascione, Natasha Barrett, Michel Chion, Pierre Henry, and Lionel Marchetti’s presence. Also, in the Nuit blanche programme (August 23rd) Gilles Gobeil will present his piece Ombres, espaces, silences…, Francis Dhomont will diffuse Signé Dionysos, and Annette Vande Gorne her piece Exil, chant II.
Futura 2007, the international festival of acousmatic art, will take place from August 17 au 19, 2007 in Crest (France). This festival’s edition build around Christian Zanési’s work will notably host, Amongst many composers, Mathew Adkins, Patrick Ascione, Darren Copeland, Denis Dufour, Chantal Dumas, Bernard Parmegiani, Laurie Radford, Pete Stollery, Benjamin Thigpen, and Annette Vande Gorne.
A first acousmatic music concert in Cherbourg-Octeville (France) will take place on June 1, 2007. Note that François Bayle will present La main vide and premiere Espaces etc, and Patrick Ascione will diffuse Danse de l’aube and his new piece Ascionerie no 4 (from the series Figures de style).
A concert presented on the Arts Temps Réel acousmonium (a mobile system of 32 tracks for 40 loudspeakers) will take place on June 26, 2007 in Aix-en-Provence (France), as part of the Microfolies series of the Musique dans la rue event. Here and There by Francis Dhomont, Les flûtes en feu by Åke Parmerud, Y---OW by Roxanne Turcotte, and a new piece by Patrick Ascione will notably be performed on this uncommon orchestra…
Musiques & Recherches presents a concert of new acousmatic works by Patrick Ascione, Régis Renouard Larivière and Annette Vande Gorne on April 28 2006 at the Petit Théâtre Mercelis in Brussels (Belgium).
The first Akousma concert of the GRM’s 27th season will be held at 5 pm on Sunday January 8, 2006 at the Salle Olivier Messiaen of the Maison de Radio France (Paris). The concert will feature works by Patrick Ascione, Christian Zanési, Jean-Marc Duchenne, and Beatriz Ferreyra.
Au fil de l’eau, a concert featuring works produced at the Métamorphoses d’Orphée studio, will be presented aboard the barge Équisonnance on December 10, 2005 in Tournai (Belgium). Patrick Ascione, Stephan Dunkelman, Theodore Lotis, and Annette Vande Gorne are amongst the featured composers.
Élektrophonie presents the 2005 Nuit bleue from July 8 to 10, 2005 at Arc et Senans’ Saline Royale (France). Nuit bleue 2005 is the 4th edition of this festival dedicated to new electroacoustic and electronic music, and is presented in coproduction with the University of Birmingham (United Kingdom) and Musiques & Recherches (Belgium). Every acousmatic composition will be spatialized on acousmonium by Sébastien Chatron, Jonty Harrison, Isabel Pires and Annette Vande Gorne. The night will feature compositions by Pete Stollery, Adrian Moore, Denis Smalley, Stephan Dunkelman, Ingrid Drese, Robert Normandeau, Francis Dhomont, Patrick Ascione, Andrew Lewis, Trevor Wishart, Annette Vande Gorne, Elizabeth Anderson, Theodore Lotis, Roger Cochini, Bernard Fort, Jonty Harrison, John Young, David Berezan et Beatriz Ferreyra, amongst others. The concert will then be repeated integrally in Birmingham (UK) on July 16, 2005.
