Foliphonies celebrates the 20 years of empreintes DIGITALes with a double-concert of Patrick Ascione’ work and works by younger composers whose music is released by empreintes DIGITALes. This concert is produced by Les Acousmonautes at the Cité de la musique in Marseille (France) on December 8, 2010 as part of the annual colloquim of the Association des enseignants de la composition en musique électroacoustique (France).

Organized by the CMMAS, the 6th Visiones Sonoras festival will place in Morelia (Mexico) on November 3 - 6, 2010 with the guest composers, amomgst several others, Åke Parmerud, jef chippewa, Julio d’Escriván, and Mathew Adkins (premiere of Entangled Symmetries). jef chippewa will return to CMMAS in mid-November for a two-week residency to work on a new composition.

The winners of the 36th Bourges International Competition of Electroacoustic Music and Electronic Arts (France) have been announced. In the Electroacoustic Music Part — Section II Trivium / Quadrivium Elainie Lillios got a prize for her work Veiled Resonance. In the same section Gilles Gobeil’s work Castalie and De deux points de vue by Todor Todoroff were awarded a mention. In the Electronic Arts Part Mathew Adkins was awarded a mention for his work Five Panels.
